Introducing Dr. Jaussi, M.D. to the Center for Sight team

We want to introduce you to Dr. W. Reed Jaussi, a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and glaucoma specialist who recently joined Center For Sight. We are excited to have Dr. Jaussi partner with us in creating 20/happy vision for each of our patients.

Dr. Jaussi’s Expertise

Dr. JaussiBorn and raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho, Dr. Jaussi earned his bachelor’s degree at the University of Idaho. While at school, he was a noted student athlete and a member of the intercollegiate basketball team. He graduated as a three-time Academic All-American honoree.

Dr. Jaussi received his medical degree from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. He went on to complete a transitional internship at Malcolm Grow U.S.A.F. Medical Center at Andrews Air Force Base. Before he went through specialty training in ophthalmology, he served as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force. He was named Flight Surgeon of the Year for the Electronic Security Command.

Following his military medical service, Dr. Jaussi continued his post-graduate training in medicine in Washington D.C. He first completed an ophthalmology residency at the Washington Hospital Center. Then, he completed a fellowship in glaucoma at Georgetown University Medical Center.

At Center for Sight, Las Vegas, Dr. Jaussi continues a successful career in ophthalmology that has distinguished him as a premier private practice specialist in Washington D.C., in Utah, and now in Nevada.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Jaussi’s interests include basketball, pickle-ball, and golf. He also enjoys hiking and mountain biking with his wife.
