Background
Dr. Anjlie Gupta is an anterior segment and glaucoma surgeon with advanced training in the medical and surgical management of glaucoma. She earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Southern California, where she was a Trustee Scholar and received the Emma Josephine Bradley Bovard Award for the highest GPA among female students. She went on to earn her medical and master’s degree in Population Health Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis before completing her ophthalmology residency at Boston University/Boston Medical Center. She then completed an anterior segment and glaucoma fellowship in Las Vegas under Dr. Eva Liang and Dr. Peter DeBry.
Inspired by her mother, an infectious disease specialist, Dr. Gupta pursued medicine with a commitment to meaningful patient care. During medical school, she discovered a deep passion for vision care and microsurgery, which led her to ophthalmology. She is particularly enthusiastic about recent advancements in minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, which have provided patients with more targeted and effective treatment options.
Dr. Gupta is a dedicated advocate for high-quality, patient-centered care and is proud to practice alongside the Center For Sight team, embracing the clinic’s 20/Happy philosophy.
Outside of work, Dr. Gupta values time with family and friends. She enjoys cooking, baking, and exploring the outdoors. As a newcomer to Las Vegas, she looks forward to discovering everything the city has to offer.
