Blepharoplasty

Reconstructive and cosmetic eye surgery are areas that we specialize in at Center For Sight. Droopy eyelids are a common issue and, in some cases, can even impede your sight. Blepharoplasty is a catch-all term for eyelid surgery. Our Center For Sight oculoplastics team is made up of experts in resolving eyelid imperfections. Whether you want to look a few years younger or need to address a sagging upper eyelid that is affecting your vision, Center For Sight is ready to help.

Ectropion & Entropion Repair

As the muscles and tendons within our eyelids weaken, our eyelids may fold away or toward the eye. Ectropion (eyelid folding away) and entropion (eyelid folding inward) are conditions that become more common as we age. While not dangerous on their own, both can cause eye damage if left untreated. Thankfully, these eyelid disorders can be resolved easily by our team of oculoplastic experts. Center For Sight can resolve these conditions before they become serious problems.

Eyelid Tumors

One of the most common skin cancers, basal cell carcinoma, often appears on the eyelid. Fortunately, the location of these tumors makes them easy to spot. Treatment is normally as simple as removing the tumor and using reconstructive surgery to return the eyelid to its normal shape.

Ptosis Repair

Ptosis is a condition commonly known as “drooping upper eyelid”. The condition results in one or both of your eyelids hanging down into your field of vision. This condition can be caused by weakening muscles related to age, trauma to the area or genetic predisposition. Treatment depends on your individual needs. Only trust experts, like our team at Center For Sight, to evaluate and treat your drooping eyelids.
