Does the skin around your eyes need a touch up? Eyelid surgery, called blepharoplasty, is an eye surgery to repair droopy eyelids by removing sagging skin, muscle and fat around the eyelid. Droopy upper eyelids often impair peripheral vision, and blepharoplasty can reduce or eliminate this issue. If your appearance is affected by upper eyelid droop or tired-looking eyes caused by bags, blepharoplasty at Center For Sight can help you look your best.

Will my insurance cover Blepharoplasty?

Doctors can perform blepharoplasty to improve the appearance or function of upper or lower eyelids.

Upper bleph can potentially improve ocular function. If a drooping upper eyelid inhibits your vision, then insurance can likely help cover the cost of your upper eye surgery.

Lower bleph is a cosmetic eye surgery that addresses excess skin and puffiness under the eye. For this reason, lower eyelid surgery is most often not covered by insurance.

Our team is happy to assist you in verifying if your eyelid surgery, or a part of it, can be covered by insurance.

Is it right for me?

Blepharoplasty is usually ideal for adult patients with healthy facial tissue and muscles. Many patients love the results of blepharoplasty, and benefit from a more youthful and well rested appearance. Those with vision loss due to drooping eyelids regain their full visual field after a successful eyelid surgery.
