When Dr. Eva Liang opened Center For Sight’s doors at our Craig Road and Henderson locations in 2013, two providers, herself and Dr. Jeffrey Hart, cared for more than 11,000 patients. Now, with 11 doctors and four clinics, there are so many reasons to celebrate those 10 years that brought so many patients 20/Happy vision. Last year, Center For Sight performed a landmark of almost 6,000 procedures for more than 70,000 patients.
Dr. Liang, who leads Center For Sight, has been constantly advancing the eye care field. In 2015, she was the first female surgeon in the U.S. to implant the Kamra Inlay for reading vision — making CFS one of the first 12 centers to offer the procedure in the U.S. Dr. Liang was featured on the cover of Las Vegas Woman for her leadership in medicine and dedication to patient care that year. In 2018, Center for Sight Las Vegas was the first practice in Nevada to offer the Light Adjustable Lens™ (LAL®).
Nonprofit support plays a big role in Center For Sight’s mission. Sight For Life, a nonprofit started by Dr. Liang in 2000, provides vision-saving care to uninsured or underinsured patients. Center For Sight also participates in the annual Teddy Bear Run that benefits the United Healthcare Children’s Foundation. Over the last decade, Center For Sight has also supported Ronald McDonald House, Feeding America’s Three Square, Nevada Blind Children’s Foundation, University of Nevada Las Vegas Foundation, and the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation.
