At Center For Sight, we’re always looking for ways to improve our patients’ experience when they’re here with us. Our focus is to make sure you’re happy – in fact, 20/happy – each time you come to see us.

From a warm greeting when you arrive to making sure all your questions are answered at your appointment, our daily goal is to provide comprehensive generational eye care that exceeds your expectations, that wows you.

To better serve our growing 20/happy patient family, we are excited to introduce you to our newest team member, Dr. Jeylan El-Mansoury.

Jeylan El-Mansoury, MD, is a board-certified ophthalmologist with fellowship training in pediatrics, neuro-ophthalmology and corneal disease. She also specializes in soft tissue oculoplastic surgery.

Dr. Jeylan El-Mansoury received her medical degree from Alexandria University, Egypt. After graduation, she joined Alexandria University to teach as an assistant professor and continued her education. She then emigrated from Egypt to the US with her family and received her fellowship training at Wills Eye Hospital, Philadelphia, PA.

During this time, Dr. El-Mansoury also finished her postgraduate diploma (Ph.D.) from Alexandria University, Egypt. She then completed her medical internship in pediatrics at Hahnemann University Hospital Philadelphia, PA, and a residency in ophthalmology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.

In other words, she’s highly qualified and credentialed.

Dr. El-Mansoury’s career has taken her to many parts of the world. “Dr. El-Mansoury’s excellent reputation precedes her and we’re so delighted to have her join our clinical team,” said Dr. Eva Liang, chief surgeon and founder of Center For Sight.

Dr. El-Mansoury found her passion for medicine and health care with the guidance of her family. Her father was a medical doctor and a founder of Alexandria University. He motivated her to become a doctor and encouraged her to a lifelong commitment to education.

Her special interests in ophthalmology include neuro-ophthalmology, pediatric ophthalmology, cornea and soft tissue oculoplastic surgery which involves aesthetic and reconstructive oculofacial surgery, including functional and cosmetic eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), Botox and facial fillers.

Dr. El-Mansoury is Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is also a member of the American Medical Association, the American Society of Pediatric Ophthalmology and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.

Outside the office, Dr. El-Mansoury enjoys swimming and going on peaceful walks with her husband. She’s excited about the warmer climate the Las Vegas area offers so she can explore the many walking and hiking trails in the area. “I also have a passion for doing volunteer work because I love to be around people and helping others,” said Dr. El-Mansoury.

Center For Sight warmly welcomes Dr. El-Mansoury to the 20/happy team at Center For Sight.
